It was a great weekend at the track, but now it’s time to get back to work!
Need a BMW serviced? We’re your one stop shop for BMW service and repair in the Upstate.
Lamar brought us his 2001 VW Beetle. He’s had the car looked at by several shops, and even the dealer, but brought it to us for the repairs. We’re installing a new turbo, since the old one has seen better days.
Here’s an interesting picture. Note the used turbo on the right and the new turbo on the left.
After some trouble on the highway, Marc brought us his 2002 BMW 330xi. He’s reported a “skip” under heavy throttle, and noted that his Check Engine Light is on. We’ve diagnosed the issue as a faulty camshaft position sensor. While the car is in the shop, we’ll also be installing a new valve cover gasket.
When Jay’s 2009 Audi A4 stalled on the interstate, he called us right away. After our tow truck picked Jay up, we began to diagnose his issues. Jay’s Audi has no compression on the #2 cylinder, leading us to believe that several of the valves are bent. We’ll be removing the cylinder head for a valve job, and replacing the timing set.
